Heal in relationship.

It can be helpful to return to the parts of therapy that are very simple.

We get disconnected from ourselves - our desires, our needs, our intuition - and being in relationship with a trusted person can help bring us back home to ourselves.

I approach therapy work from the perspective that each of us already has what it takes to heal, change, and grow.

The process of therapy is about bringing what already exists inside out into the open.

I work with couples to become aware of existing patterns of conflict and help replace them with new patterns that allow each partner to see and love one another more clearly.

I work with individuals to remove blocks to emotion. When emotion gets blocked, symptoms like anxiety and depression can emerge. Building tolerance to experience our emotional worlds can impact our ability to feel at peace with ourselves and the people we love.

I use Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) with individual clients and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) when working with couples and relationships. If you want to know more about these models and the way I work, please ask me!
